Where have I been???
I have missed my blog but I have been busy lately. I just got back yesterday from being on a cruise. It was my very first cruise and I have to say that I am hooked.
We had a wonderful time on the cruise. My husband and I decided last year to book the cruise. We were very nervous because we just didn't know the ends and outs of a cruise or how we would react to the movement of the ship. After the first day we know we would love it.
We ended up to have a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Fantasy that left from Charleston, South Carolina. It was amazing to see the huge ship and to see the amount of great workers that kept up this well oiled machine.
If you are ever considering a vacation I would highly reccommend a cruise. It is fun and you can truly find some amazing deals. The best part about it is that all food and entertainment is included. You can really keep the trip inexpensive.

What are your favorite stores?
I have a lot of favorite stores and what I love to do is to go to their website and look on there to see if there is a sign up section to receive their specials and coupons. Almost all stores have these sections on their site and will send out deals regularly. I have gotten many great deals this way and they come right into my inbox. It can’t get any easier than that. I will list a couple that I continue to get Michaels, Carters, Loft, Bed Bath and Beyond, Bath and Body Works, etc. Have fun shopping and getting those deals.

Got Credit Cards?
-Interest Rate-Check on your credit card’s interest rate. Check around with different credit card companies to see if they offer lower interest rates that you can get.
-Call the Company-It doesn’t hurt to call your credit card company and ask them if they can reduce your interest rate. Most of the time your credit card company can reduce your rate if they can tell that you are in good standing with them.
-Get Rewards- Look for a credit card that offers rewards for making purchases. Our family has a credit card that offers 1% cash back on all purchases. Then, it also has 5% cash back on different set things for each quarter. It’s not much but it adds up quickly especially if you know you are going to purchase a bigger item. You can put it on the credit card but have the money set aside so that you can pay it off at the end of the month.
-Don’t Get Upside Down-Try your best to put only what you can pay off at the end of the month on the credit cards. You might not be able to do this at first if you have a high debt already but you will get there if you work on it.
-Paying off cards- When paying off credit cards start with the card with the highest interest rate first. Pay more than the minimum balance and pay as much as you can until you pay it off. Then start on the next one until you are debt free!

Some of the best gifts are those that don't cost much at all. Family and some of your friends would enjoy crafts and things that your child might make this holiday season.
This craft is made with a piece of construction paper made into a circle with a circle inside it. Then you take Elmer's glue and put it generosly onto the paper circle. Then you will add noodles of all different shapes (i.e. bowties, elbow, macaroni, etc. Then after it dries spray paint it silver, red, green, or gold. Attach a ribbon and a picture to have a great keepsake.
The next craft ornament I would like to share is another ornament. I got plain ornaments and some paint. I painted my daughter's fingers and then pressed them onto the ornament. Then after it dried I took markers to make hats, and decorations on the snowmen that were made out of each of her fingers.
Every year I try to have my daughter do a craft for her grandparents. They enjoy seeing her artwork and it is a great keepsake. I love seeing each of the items each year just to see how much she has grown since the year before.
